EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EoI)

Trainers For Local Public Interest Entities Reviewers

The Malawi Accountants Board (MAB) is the regulatory authority of the accounting profession in Malawi. The Board was established by the Public Accountants and Auditors Act No. 5 of 2013 (Cap 53:06) (PAA Act) of the laws of Malawi to regulate the reporting of financial and non-financial information and provide oversight over professional accountancy organizations, accountants, auditors, auditing and accounting firms and accountancy training institutions. It is also mandated to review the statutory financial reports and financial statements of public interest entities.

The Malawi Accountants Board (MAB) invites interested companies/firms/organisations/ consultants to submit the Expression of Interest (EoI) to be shortlisted for consultancy services as Trainers for Local Public Interest Entities Reviewers.

Interested bidders are expected to meet the minimum prerequisite for the expression of interest as follows:

Letter of expression of interest
Detailed company profile/ consultant profile
Copies of certificate of Business registration and any relevant licences
Organogram with CVs of key staff showing their relevant qualifications
Minimum of five years’ experience in similar work with evidence of past and current work and contactable references
Copies of audited accounts for the last three years
Valid copies of Tax Clearance and VAT Certificates in the case of a local company.
